When should I upgrade my instrument?
Most musicians will upgrade their instrument when they have been playing for a few years. For students, this is usually sometime during middle or high school; however, the timeline is different for all students. We recommend talking to your band dire
Can I trade in my instrument?
If your current instrument is from Schmitt Music, we can take a select amount towards certain step-up instruments. However, many students will elect to keep their current instrument for marching or pep band.
